This was a challenging but rewarding trek to one of the most impressive and mysterious Inca sites in Peru. Waqrapukara is a fortress built on a rocky outcrop, surrounded by stunning valleys and canyons. The trek was well organized, with a professional guide, a comfortable van, and a delicious lunch. The hike was about 3 hours each way, with some steep sections, but the views were amazing. We saw alpacas, vicuñas, and small lakes along the way. We had enough time to explore the site and learn about its history and significance. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he answered all our questions. It was a long day, but totally worth it. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves adventure and culture
