Terms and Conditions

Once you have selected a program, please carefully review the terms and conditions as your booking is subject to the provisions outlined below. Making a payment for any program or tour offered by United Mice Peru signifies your consent and agreement to abide by all the terms and conditions stated herein, which shall be binding for all tours.

General Information

The program itinerary is subject to change based on weather and river conditions, as well as the preferences of the group.
United Mice Peru cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings of the client, nor the resulting consequences.
We are not responsible for any illness or accidents that may occur during the tour. In the event of sickness or an accident, the client bears full responsibility for any associated costs.
The client assumes responsibility for any equipment loaned to them and agrees to compensate for any loss or damage upon returning to Cusco.
The client acknowledges and affirms their physical and mental fitness. United Mice Peru cannot be held responsible for any consequences if this declaration is untrue.

Booking Procedures

Prior to making any payment, please contact us for further assistance. To secure your chosen program, a 50% deposit per person is required at the time of booking. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable in the event of client cancellation. By proceeding with the payment, you enter into a contractual agreement with United Mice Peru, and we will subsequently accept and confirm your booking. Travel arrangements are considered confirmed only upon written confirmation from United Mice Peru.

You may make the 50% pre-payment through WESTERN UNION, PAYPAL, or online payment methods, ensuring the transfer is made in the name of a staff member of United Mice Peru. Any bank taxes and transfer costs are the responsibility of the client.

Payment of Final Balance

The program price is quoted in U.S. dollars. We request that you settle your final balance at our office no later than 24 hours before your tour begins. We accept cash (Peruvian soles or American dollars) and Visa payments (with an 8% commission charge). The program price per person, as agreed upon during the booking confirmation, will remain unchanged.

Cancellation by the Client

If you wish to cancel your reservation, please notify United Mice Peru in writing. The deposit is non-refundable. Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be covered by your insurance policy.

In the event of cancellation received more than 15 days prior to departure, the client will forfeit the 50% deposit. If cancellation occurs between 15 and 7 days before departure, a 50% refund of the tour price will be granted only if 100% of the payment has been made in advance. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure or canceling only a portion of the tour, no refund will be provided.

Cancellation / Changes by us

If unforeseen circumstances arise, such as technical issues, weather conditions, strikes, riots, or government decisions, United Mice Peru will propose alternative solutions or comparable travel arrangements. Refunds will not be provided. We reserve the right to adjust the scheduled itinerary as needed.

If significant changes are necessary, we will inform you prior to the departure date and offer alternative arrangements. Any additional expenses incurred as a result will be the responsibility of the client. United Mice Peru cannot reimburse additional expenses incurred by the client in preparation for the tour.

Cancellation by United Mice Peru will result in a full refund of your payment.

Acceptance of Risk

Some itineraries provided by United Mice Peru are designed to immerse participants in the environment. Consequently, they carry personal risks, including injury or damage. By participating, the client accepts these risks. The client releases United Mice from any responsibility in the event of accidents or injuries.

Authority on Tour

The guide or company representative holds decision-making authority concerning the safety and well-being of the group. Participants must follow the guide’s instructions.

Clients must abide by Peruvian laws and regulations, especially regarding drugs. Non-compliance or endangering the group may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Travel Documents

Clients must have a valid passport and carry the original or a copy during the tour.

Travel Insurance

We recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, trip cancellations, and lost luggage.

Third Party Services

While United Mice Peru operates some services, we also collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other providers. These parties are independent, and United Mice Peru cannot accept liability for issues caused by them.

Claims and Complaints

For complaints, inform the guide during the tour for immediate resolution. Subsequent complaints must be written and submitted within 7 days post-tour.

All claims or disputes are exclusively resolved in Cusco, Peru, under Peruvian Law.

Claims for damages against United Mice Peru are limited to the program’s value. Liability is restricted to the total tour price. Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or expenses, including loss of profits, are excluded.
