Exploring Pikillacta

We’ll venture to the archaeological site of Pikillacta. The exploration of the archaeological site takes around 45 minutes. This pre-Inca Wari culture relic beholds expansive ruins. Our knowledgeable guides will share information about the history of the site.

Andahuaylillas Church Visit

The final leg of our tour takes us to the Andahuaylillas Church. I had a wonderful time on the Cusco South Valley Tour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and culture of each place we visited. Tipón is an amazing example of the hydraulic engineering of the Incas, with terraces and canals that still work. Pikillacta is a pre-Inca city of adobe that shows the influence of the Wari culture. And Andahuaylillas is a colonial town with a church that has a spectacular interior, full of paintings, sculptures and gold decorations. The tour was very comfortable and well organized, with private transport and enough time to explore each site. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the past and present of Cusco.
